Mr Hartlib/
          I haue a great desire to bringe an acquaintance to pass between the P: Elector and my Lady Ranalaugh; and therfore I thincke it very expedient that you giue her my Leter to his Highnes, that shee may giue him oppertunity to make his acquaintance, which being done you will finde her very capable to be instrumentall, for the effecting faithfully and prudently, whatsoever shall be by you or others committed to her trust; eyther concerning the busines therin inclosed or any [word deleted] other, that shall heer after bee fitt to communicate to his Highnes.
  mr Durye will wright to you concerning your sone, himselfe and I shall never faile to haue you and yours in my thoughts and indevours for theyr good, vntill I can doe neyther therfore I expect, and intreat such a freedome from you, as may be directorie to mee, for advancing all things, that can any ways conduce to your service, or els you wrongg[altered] my affection to you, which I shall maintaine very intire and faithfull as being in the Lord Christ
