Good Mr Hartlib
I thanke you very much for your kinde letter, and newes, and that note of hubandly inventions, and my wife thankes you for her booke. I shall be very glad to receive your weekely advertisements, and such peeces of worth as your affection can gleane for me. Whatsoever comes from your hand is very wellcome, and till I can haue an opportunity to give you reall thankes for all your kindness, I shall desire you to accept this verball assurance that I am most faithfully
