Sir.
Now at length, after a long & tedious iourney, I am arriued at my old stage, or home: where I found some of your letters, as I had others of them sent after me. and, amongst the rest, one found me at Dansicke, wherin was yours to your Frind in that place: which I caused forthwith to be deliuered. This inclosed from your Brother will shew you perhapps that I spake with him there. and the good man doubts that the relation, printed in England touching his sufferings, may proue dangerous to him amongst his persecutours, the wicked Iesuits in those parts. and, if the King of Poland should pursue his proscription, those of Dansicke dare not protect him: especially seeing Borroncaster Shirenbörg the wisest & best man of that Senate (who was of our religion) departed this life, euen as I was there, to the great regret of all good people in that Towne. howeuer, I hope your brother will find Frinds to forwarne him of the danger, if they see any approching, that so he may haue time & opportunitie to escape it.
I hoped to haue found a letter from Mr Durye, in answere of that I writte him inclosed in your Couert, and dated in Rostock as I was on my iourney: which Mr Bowater writes he had safely deliuered to your hands, but happely he [Catchword: deferres]

deferres writing vntill hee vnderstand of my returne home: which I pray let him knowe from you. and, with remembrance of my best loue & respects, tell him also that I haue some bookes to send him shortly, which I found at Köningsberg. but I sent them, with other of my luggage by one of my Seruants by shipping from Dansicke: thinking they would haue bene here sooner then my selfe. but it falls out otherwise, thorough contrary winds: which are now come fauourable, So I hope they wilbe here in a few daies.
For all your loueing fauours I must rest your Debtor still, and shall euer remayne
                                Your very loueing Frind
                                   to doe you seruice
