Dearest sir.
       you were very much patience, & Faith allso to believe it possible for me to come out of your debt & to discharge those areares I weekely increase, in postage, besides your trouble many other wayes. But I have some hopes from Heaven; it being so farr aboue, & beyond[altered from beyend] this vaine world, or lump of clay which we calle Earth. under Heaven you may expect much from our good freind Heere. I might say very much; but all in this word; I see so much possible, (that I say not allready done), that I cannot despaire of much more then myself or others have either read or heard, in any such dress as we could receive.
    sir. as soone as you bid me come, or say I may, I shall soone bid adeiu to these meares & foggs. In the meane time I beseech you present my reall service to good mrs. Hartlib, intreate her to wayte on him that is ever much better then we iudge or expect.   sir. I am & shall ever be
