Deare freind
I haue beene so taken up yesterday & today that I could not fitte that which I intended to send unto you; but the next post will recompense this delay.
I pray salute Mr. Schlezer from me, & tell him that the Chancelour here promised to giue me an answer this day to bee inclosed in answer to two of his for which hee thankes him; & did delay to answer till I am come because hee would not returne an Answer by Vicquefort; because (but keep this to your self) hee said hee does not trust him in any matters which relate to England & would not haue him know that any letter should go from hence thither as beeing a fierce royalist: hee said hee would therefore write under my Couert; but hee has not sent it as yet.
here you haue the testimonie Concerning Theodoricus Gravius[altered] which a kinsman of his gaue me. I must make hast for feare of loosing this post. the Lord bee with you
