[Taken from catalogue entry]
A [silver] teapot, with a handle made of wood that serves as an insulating material to protect the user.
The form of this silver teapot is usually described as bullet-shaped since it is rounder than the pear-shaped teapots produced at the beginning of the 18th century. It is probably the forerunner of the modern teapot.
