George I pewter double domed lidded church tankard with scroll thumbpiece and fishtail handle terminal. Barrel under fillet engraved "In usum Ecclesia Chaldin Herrin[g], Samuel Cherry Church Warden Anno Dom[ini] 1722".
It appears that Thomas Carpenter...never had a touch but continued to using John Carpenter's
[The capacity of 895ml is a close approximation of one and a half pints of ale (866ml)]
