That whereas there is one Alice Helme widow and tenant to your petitoner who doth not only brew and sell ale without licence but hath reported divers times that she will brew and sell ale in despite of your petitioner's teeth and also there is many of her neighbours who complaineth that they cannot keep their servants at work but the said Alice Helme doth entice them to spend their money and consume it at unlawful games in the night and also at other times when they ought to follow their Master's occasions now your petitioner humbly craveth that the said Alice Helme may be suppressed and quite put down for brewing and selling of ale and your petitioner will at all times be ready to pray for your Worships' good health and happiness.
