Kelly Miller is a Visiting Scholar in Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of Virginia and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. Miller's research interests lie in twentieth-century Russian literature, art history, and relations between the visual and verbal arts. She is currently at work on a manuscript provisionally entitled Painting and the Poetry of Anna Akhmatova. Miller also has an interest in Czech literature and art. With Zdenka Brodska, Miller translated Fish Scales (Michigan Slavic Publications, 2001), a book of poetry by Czech poet and artist Bohuslav Reynek.
